How to receive MRM training
The Swedish Club Academy's commitment to resource management includes an important task - to offer members of the global shipping community best possible opportunities to attend MRM training.
The Swedish Club Academy offers the MRM course at its own training centre in Greece and elsewhere in the world at licensed training providers. New applicants for a licence are evaluated and provided that a number of requirements concerning teaching and training facilities are met, a licence to conduct the course may be issued. The requirements - similar to the classification societies' rules for maritime training centres - have been drawn up to ensure a high quality and common standard of training wherever in the world the training takes place.
All licensed training providers contribute to the further development of the course both financially through a yearly licence fee, but even more importantly through sharing of broad experiences and expertise.

MRM licensing procedure:
- Contact is made with the The Swedish Club Academy
- Draft licence agreement sent to the applicant
- Applicant willing and able to meet the requirements of the agreement
- Final approval of applicant
- Signing of licence agreement
- Training of MRM workshop leader(s)
- Delivery of course material, providing access to the MRM web
- Issuing of MRM Certificate of Authorisation
