WSL meeting in Gothenburg, 17-18 February 2010
Dear MRM Workshop Leader,
The Swedish Club Academy, cordially invites you to an MRM Workshop Leader meeting at The Swedish Club's head office in Gothenburg, Sweden. The main objectives with the meeting will be to improve your performance as workshop leader and provide a forum for exchange of views with the purpose of further enhancing the standards of course contents and training. A highly experienced guest speaker, Mr Gunnar Fahlgren, former airline pilot and author of the book Life Resource Management, CRM & Human Factors, will contribute to our meeting with interesting presentations based on his extensive experience from human factors and resource management training.
We hope that you shall find the event most rewarding.

Invited: All certified and prospective workshop leaders working for MRM training providers. The prospective workshop leaders will be attending also an Introductory Day on 16 February.
Seminar fee: Euro 500 for certified WSL. The fee includes the programme, coffee/tea breaks, lunch, dinner on 17 February and the book Life Resource Management, CRM & Human Factors by Gunnar Fahlgren. For prospective WSLs, attending also on 16 February, there will be an additional fee of Euro 250. The seminar fee will be invoiced upon confirmation of your seat.
Travel: To be arranged by the participant.
Accommodation: To be arranged by the participant. Information about accommodation in Gothenburg is available here. The accommodation closest to The Swedish Club office is the floating Hotel Ibis Göteborg City. It is one of the least expensive hotels in the area but of reasonable standard.

Biography, Mr Gunnar Fahlgren:
In 1990, after 42 years as pilot, military and commercial, he retired as captain from Scandinavian Airlines System, where he also worked as Flight Instructor, Chief Pilot and CAA inspector.
He has studied psychology at Stockholm University, Human Factors at Cranfield University and has been a speaker at Human Factors Seminars in Tokyo, Sydney, Washington, Boston, Brussels, Dublin, Rome, Bahrain, Lausanne and Montreal.
He is certified by the Swedish CAA to conduct seminars for pilots on Human Performance and Limitations and is now working as a Human Factors consultant in Sweden. His list of clients worldwide is extensive and he has conducted Human Factors courses for thousands of pilots from all over the world. He has also been involved in training of maritime captains and pilots.
Since 1984 he has been responsible for Human Factors education for SAS captains. In 1993, IATA asked him to join their Human Factors Working Group and he was selected as a member of the ICAO Human Factors Study Group, and The Royal Aeronautical Society CRM Working Group.
