The Swedish Club’s brochure briefly presents what we offer, our full range of marine insurance, our commitment, where we are in the world and our additional services, i.e. loss prevention, maritime resource management and emergency response training.

Team Sweden

Its location places Team Sweden at the very heart of The Swedish Club, which was established in Gothenburg in 1872. The team, all with maritime backgrounds, offer you the full range of underwriting and claims expertise as well as supplying our members with expert advice 24 hours a day, every day.

Team Norway

Team Norway is responsible for the Club’s activities in Norway and for property insurance (Hull & Machinery, IV and Loss of Hire) for Mobile Offshore Units and FPSOs. The Swedish Club has been present in Norway since 2010 and the Team acts as a centre of excellence for marine insurance related to; Energy, Offshore, Service vessels and Builders’ Risk insurance for seagoing vessels and MOUs.

Team Greece

The Swedish Club has been present in Greece since 1980, and the full-service office has dedicated staff serving the needs of the markets in Greece, Italy, and the Middle East. Our members make up an international community of front-rank shipowners, who believe that quality comes first.

Team UK

The Swedish Club’s London office was set up in September 2015 and is headed by Lars Nilsson, and the purpose is to forge closer links between the Club and the important financial centre in London.

Team Hong Kong

Our Hong Kong office was set up in 1982. Team Hong Kong is responsible for markets in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Major shipowners from Asia are represented on the Club’s board, ensuring the interests of this vital shipping sector are fully represented.

Team Singapore

Our new Singapore office opened in June 2022. Team Singapore is responsible for markets in India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. Major shipowners from Asia are represented on the Club’s board, ensuring the interests of this vital shipping sector are fully represented.
