2 July - International shipping industry organisations, with military support, have launched a new website dedicated to providing comprehensive maritime security guidance to companies and mariners.
Operations in Haitian ports are suspended until further notice
10 July - The Republic of Haiti remains in a state of civil unrest, with violent manifestations developing across the nation. These manifestations have affected the port of Laffiteau.

Draft restrictions at San Nicolas port
23 July - There has been a recent change in draft restrictions for the access channel to San Nicolas New Port / Fiscal berths to 8.2m (subject to daily height of the river.) Our correspondent in Argentina advises Members and their Masters to discuss draft restrictions with their agents when calling San Nicolas port.
