We are pleased to announce that Hanseatic Training Institute (HTI) in Hamburg, Germany, today has signed an MRM licence agreement for their training centre in Manila, Philippines.

HTI was established in 1975 and has since then developed their competence in providing skilled, disciplined and highly motivated Filipino seafarers for the demands of international trading vessels. Today, HTI and its 1 600 seafarers provide crew services to approximately 110 vessels.

HTI engages in testing and training of seafarers to increase the crew’s awareness of their contribution in making the ship, passengers, crew and cargo safe and secure. Therefore HTI provides in-house training for all embarking crew, regardless of rank.

The principal clients of HTI include Reederei Karl Schlüter, Reederei Hans Peterson & Söhne, Ernst Russ, Leonhardt & Blumberg Reederei and Hansa Shipping.
