Casebook: Four case studies on fire

Hatch covers
When containers are not properly declared as dangerous cargoes, the risk of the chemicals going into a self-heating process that leads to fire and explosion is high. This is just one of the cases highlighted in the Club's casebook.

The Swedish Club Loss Prevention team has published a casebook, and one of the sections features four different case studies related to fire.

The casebook is divided into several topics, with case studies and lessons learned that could be used for training and discussion purposes.

By highlighting different case studies on fire, we strive to assist shipowners and crews in their work to prevent accidents from happening.
