The Swedish Club has been advised by Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd. that low sulphur reqirements have been implemented in all ports within Zheijang ECA starting on September 1st 2017.  (The key ports in this area are Ningbo, Zhousan, Jiaxing and Taizhou).

Ships trading in the area are required to use fuel with sulphur contents not exceeding 0,5%m/m while berthing (excluding one hour after berthing and one hour before departure).
