Ebola Virus Advice
The Marine Advisory Medical Service , has provided us with the following information.

We have received enquiries from Clubs recently regarding potential threats to crew in port in West Africa, from Ebola virus. As this is transmitted directly from person to person there is very little risk to ships crew. The attached gives some guidance to members to reassure them. Contact with persons suffering from the disease and the bodies of those who have died from Ebola are the major threat.
