VPS issues alert on fuel contamination crisis

In March, VPS issued a warning in respect of the findings of high levels of contaminants in fuel bunkered in Singapore. A number of 14 vessels have now reported engine blackouts and systems failures caused by the contaminated bunker. This has led VPS to issue an official alert due to concern for an ongoing fuel quality crisis.
