At The Swedish Club’s 140th Anniversary AGM Dinner, about 280 guests attended, which is an all time record.  Suay Umut of Dünya Denizcilik ve Ticaret A.S., Istanbul, and member of The Swedish Club Board, was the guest of  honour and gave a speech after the dinner. 

To celebrate its 140th anniversary, the Club had an American singer living in Sweden, called LaGaylia Frazier, to provide entertainment.
