Even if the MIC week started with a rainy Gothenburg, the enthusiasm and energy of the participants  was contagious from day one. The Swedish Club has held the Marine Insurance Course (MIC) since 2001 with over 630 participants from 25 different countries worldwide. This year the interest for the course was well over our expectations and we congratulate all participants on a course well done.

The week consisted of presenting and discussing all aspects of TSC’s marine insurance products and services such as P&I, Hull & Machinery, FD&D, Loss Prevention and Maritime Resource Management. After three days it was time for in-depth workshops, where you could put the theory into practice. 

The evening dinner on the Thursday took place at the restaurant “Isbolaget” on the beautiful island of Donsö. A highly entertaining evening awaited with many hidden talents such as singing, speeches and storytelling.

Again, we congratulate everyone who made the MIC 2015 the best ever.
