
Team Assistant – Team Norway
Our operation is divided into four teams, located in Gothenburg, Piraeus, Hong Kong and Oslo. We are expanding in Norway and need to strengthen our office in Oslo. We are looking for an experienced Team Assistant who is keen to join us in our exciting task to build a strong Norwegian team. In view of the strong development phase that the team is in, we think this is an opportunity for you who want to be part of and contribute to something new and challenging.
Work Description
As Team Assistant you are responsible for back-office functions related mainly to underwriting documentation. In this capacity you will have direct contact with both brokers and assureds. You will also assist in our marketing activities and general administration of the office. The working tasks include:
• Registration of risks in our production system
• Documentation follow-up with brokers and members
• Registration of premiums and payment follow-up
• Issuing of Blue Cards and P&I certificates
• Assisting underwriters in daily tasks
• Overall team assistance and administrational tasks
Place of work
The place of work is our representative office in Tjuvholmen in Oslo and you report to the Area Manager for Team Norway.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a background from similar work with either brokers, insurance companies or shipowners. Familiarity with claims and claims support is an advantage.
We believe that your theoretical background is post-secondary school (high school) with relevant additional education. An academic degree is preferred but not required.
You will be given extended training and familiarization with our systems in both Oslo and Gothenburg. English fluency, both oral and written, is required.
