A total of 13 new Workshop Leaders have been certified and have participated in the latest MRM Workshop Leader training held at The Swedish Club Academy office in Gothenburg, Sweden on 20-21 August 2013. Relevant issues and recent maritime cases have been discussed during the event. The group was composed of maritime practitioners, instructors and seismic experts. There were 17  participants, 1 is already a certified Workshop Leader who took the course as a refresher while 3 others were observers who will soon be certified Workshop Leaders.

Participating companies were Chalmers University of Technology, De Ruyter Training and Consultancy BV, Polarcus, Transatlantic AB and Wisby Shipmanagement AB. After this event, there will be three further MRM WSL training opportunities left for 2013 which will take place in Shanghai, China on 11-13 September; Gothenburg, Sweden on 2-3 October and Manila, Philippines on 15-16 October.
