On 28 November 2011 a three-hour “Introduction to MRM” seminar was held by Martin Hernqvist of The Swedish Club Academy at the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoi in Vladivostok, Russia. The majority of the participants were University teachers and people representing the local shipping community.

The seminar included also an update on the STCW Manila amendments in respect of resource management and leadership & teamwork training.
