Notify us immediately
When a casualty occurs, please notify The Swedish Club immediately. The notification should always be by telephone to ensure immediate attention.
Provide us with information
We need you to provide us with as much information as possible so we can arrange for the necessary attendance. When you contact us, please have the following information to hand:
- Name and IMO number of the vessel
- Date and time of the casualty
- Type of casualty
- Position/place/port
- Brief description of the damage (in English)
- When and where a survey can be arranged
- Name and particulars of the owner’s local agents at the port where a survey can be arranged
Please ensure that you know who is coming on board and for whom they act.
