A day on the Swedish West Coast – going south

Varberg is a small summer town on the West coast an hours’ drive from Gothenburg. First we visited the fortress right by the sea and Varberg Museum with The Bocksten Man. He is a medieval bog corpse – the only one in the world in a costume preserved from the 14th century. The reconstruction of his face and body gives you the opportunity to come face to face with a man from the Middle Ages.

Lunch was held at restaurant Nord 57o at Träslövsläge, a short drive from Varberg.
