We are pleased to announce that The Swedish Club last week signed an MRM training agreement with Humboldt Marine Training in Valparaiso, Chile. Humboldt Marine Training will be the first MRM training provider in South America. The MRM training could commence after Humboldt’s MRM Workshop Leader candidates have received their own introductory training in May, 2009.

Humboldt Marine Training was created in 2004 by Humboldt Shipmanagement with the primary purpose of meeting the training needs of its crews. Both internal and external lecturers take part in the training activities.

The holding company of the Humboldt companies is the Ultragas Group with head quarters in Santiago, Chile.
