On June 17th The Swedish Club held a reception for the resigning Managing Director at the Head Office in Göteborg. The staff and several member representatives felicitated him before his future leisure, which among other things will include beekeeping.

The Director of Human Resource, Helena Wallerius Dahlsten, held a cheerful speech to Mr Malmros where she thanked him for his contribution to the company. She also delivered the present from the staff – a contribution to The Swedish Sea Rescue Society.

Frans replied with a speech of thanks, where he told us about how he got the job at The Swedish Club.

Another surprise lied in wait for Mr Malmros. The succeeding Managing Director, Lars Rhodin, took over the talking when he showed an appreciated presentation of “the marine history of Frans and the Malmros family”.

Lars finished by handing over a photo album made from the presentation.

Christer Schoug from Stena Line contributed to the present collection.

The guests enjoyed both Champage and canapés, in addition to Frans bright company.

Per-Magnus Jonasson and Frans smiled to the camera.

Jan Risinger of Fairwater Marine AB and his wife Anna enjoyed the company of Ingela Kullberg.

Joe Balls, HSBC Insurance Brokers Ltd. whished Frans a happy retirement.

run the operation 1960-1979 and Frans has
been in charge since 1997.
