Representatives of the shipping community in Dubai are cordially invited to a two-hour MRM crash course on Wednesday May 27th.

Maritime Resource Management (MRM) is a further development of the original Bridge Resource Management course that was launched in the shipping industry in the early 1990s. The objective with MRM training is to establish genuine safety cultures in shipping companies with the ultimate aim of combating human errors in accidents at sea. 

Topics addressed at the seminar include; background to MRM, reasons we have failed so far, contributing factors in accidents, the new view on human error, the concept of situation awareness and culture’s impact on teamwork and errors.
