We are pleased to announce that the Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies (SIMS), Mumbai, India, today has joined the network of MRM training providers.

The non-commercial post-sea facility of the institute, located at Govandi, Mumbai, was established in 2002 exclusively for the officers and crew of Executive Ship Management Pte. Ltd., Singapore, with the objective of achieving the highest standards of manning and training. In October 2009, two instructors of SIMS will be certified as MRM Workshop Leaders. Executive Ship Management Pte. Ltd. is a member of The Swedish Club.
