Sirius Training & Education Institute (STEi) is an institute registered under the Singapore Private Education Act (Act 21 of 2009) Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF). With more than 1.5 millions Singapore Dollars investment into STEi, it is envisaged that STEi will eventually establish itself as a full pledged institute offering both academic and skills-based training to meet the needs of various industries – Hospitality & Tourism, Business Studies and Maritime.

Since its incorporation in February 2009, STEi has grown tremendously. To date, the institute has more than 450 international students enrolled in their courses. With a pool of well qualified maritime professionals (five of them certified MRM workshop leaders), STEi is well geared to conduct a whole range of maritime courses. STEi has registered few maritime courses with MPA Singapore and it is their intention to register more maritime courses to meet the training needs of the shipping companies in Singapore. In view of this development, STEi asked for approval to conduct the Maritime Resource Management under a license of The Swedish Club Academy.
