The Posidonia Cup 2006 took place in Faliron Bay, Piraeus, Greece, organised by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (H.O.R.C. ) in cooperation with Posidonia Exhibitions S.A and sponsored by Lloyd’s Register, on June 2nd, 2006.

52 yachts of different sizes and crews of all nationalities participated.

The Swedish Club, onboard the Judel-Vrolijk-designed ‘Okyalos’ won its class, the IMS A class, fending off a challenge from Kristen Navigation (Angelicoussis) on board the Bashford 41 type ‘Blue Seal’. A total of sixteen yachts took part in this class.
