Restrictions in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia
We have recieved information from our correspondent in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, GAC, of the below restrictions imposed by the Security Authorities.
- No dealings to be undertaken with Iranian Flag ship until further notification
- By virtue of the said notification, no Iranian Flagship is allowed in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Waters
- If any Vessel’s last 3 calls are linked to Iran, that ship will not be allowed to enter Bahrain Ports. There is no such restriction as of now in Saudi Arabia.

Due to the severance of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Iran, it is prohibited for all Bahraini ships (flying the flag of Bahrain) to visit any of the Iranian ports.
It also prevents the entry of Iranian ships (flying the Iranian flag) and other ships coming directly from Iran to the ports of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Other ships which have one of the last three ports visiting Iranian ports, need the approvals from Bahrain security authorities before entering Bahraini waters.
