Holland & Knight LLP has provided us with the following information.

The U.S. Coast Guard issued an Advisory updating information on the port security status of various nations. Nauru has now submitted information, verified by a USCG visit, showing that it has implemented the ISPS Code. Vessels arriving from Nauru are no longer subject to conditions of entry. Albania and Madagascar have submitted information, not yet verified by a USCG visit, that they have implemented the ISPS Code. Vessels arriving from Albania or Madagascar may be subject to conditions of entry. The nations of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia (except for the Port of Monrovia), and Mauritania have not provided the IMO with information required by the ISPS Code to demonstrate that they have adequately implemented the maritime security provisions. Vessels that have visited ports in those nations during their five previous port calls must have taken additional security measures during such port calls; otherwise they will be denied entry into the United States. The Coast Guard will board these vessels at sea to verify that the additional security measures were undertaken and the vessels will be required to institute additional security measures while in U.S. ports.
