United States Coast Guard’s Marine Safety, Security and Environmental Protection department have issued an alert entitled “Safety Alert – Lifejacket Snap Hooks” which article/alert discusses “…defective snap hooks with corroded spring clips installed on four models of U.S. Coast Guard Approved Lifejackets.”
