Our correspondents from the People’s Republic of China, Oasis P&I Services Company Limited, provided us with their latest circular highlighting China’s revised Ship Routing System and Ship Reporting System at Qiongzhou strait, which will take effect on 01 April 2022.

China MSA recently announced the revised Ship Routing System and Ship Reporting System to regulate the ships’ navigation order in Qiongzhou Strait.

The circular mentioned that any ship violating the rules of the above two revised systems shall face the administrative penalty or other administrative compulsory measures imposed by MSA in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
