During two sunny days in September, Donsö Shipping Meet was held for the third time on the Island of Donsö by local shipping companies and volunteers from the Island. A very well organised event that has grown bigger since it started in 2009.

The Swedish Club was, of course, one of over 160 exhibitors, represented with an exhibition stand as well as a big tent outside. In the tent, people could navigate with a small land going education boat, Hjulia, borrowed from Sjöklar Kustakademi. Several tried to navigate through a course on the shortest time, but only one could claim the prize.

The Swedish Minster of Infrastructure, Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd hosted the opening ceremony at Donsö.
