During two days in September, the 4^th Donsö Shipping Meet was held on the Island of Donsö by local shipping companies and volunteers from the Island. The event is held every second year and has successfully grown since it started in 2009.

More than 250 representatives from a wide range of shipping companies and 160 exhibiting suppliers participated.

Visitors at The Swedish Club tent had the chance to mingle and also navigate with small motor boats in an inflatable pool. Many visitors tried to navigate through a course of buoys as quickly as possible, but only one could claim the prize.

The activity in The Swedish Club tent was very well received and many enthusiasts tried their navigational skills. We congratulate the winner Thomas Carlsson, from Gothenburg Fire services, who was the fastest navigator this year.

The surplus from the exhibition will go to a foundation, which will promote activities on Donsö for children, young people and the elderly.
