Wisby Shipmanagement AB, Siport21 and SIETC-Crew Qingdao join the MRM Network of Training Providers

On September 2013, Wisby Shipmanagement AB signed a Licence Agreement with The Swedish Club Academy to be one of the 9 licenced training providers in Sweden. Wisby Shipmanagement has already sent 4 representatives, including its Managing Director, Jonas Engström, to 3 separate MRM Workshop Leader training events and are now certified MRM Workshop Leaders. Wisby Shipmanagement is also a member of The Swedish Club.

A few weeks later, Siport21, a maritime safety consulting company based in Madrid, Spain, also signed a Licence Agreement with the Academy making them the second MRM training provider in Spain. They have also sent 2 representatives during the MRM Workshop Leader training event in Gothenburg on 2-3 October 2013.

Following the success of the MRM caravan in China, SIETC-Crew Qingdao joined the MRM network of training providers after sending 2 representatives to the first MRM WSL training course in mainland China held on 11-13 September 2013. They are the 7th Licenced MRM training provider in China. Two weeks after the signing of the agreement, they have carried out their first MRM training course to a group of seafarers with 14 deck officers attending the event. This shows how active and engaged SIETC-Crew is in promoting the MRM concept.

The Swedish Club Academy together with the network of MRM training providers would like to extend a warm welcome to Wisby Shipmanagement AB, Siport 21 and SIETC-Crew Qingdao.
