The first webinar will take place on 30 November 2023, at 10:00am CET. This session will cover the technical and operational aspects of bunkering. It will focus on proper bunkering procedures and documentation to minimise claims; ISO 8217 specifications and standards, training and awareness, and the importance of record keeping.

The second webinar will take place on 06 December 2023 at 10.00am CET and will focus on the legal aspects of bunkering. It will explore the key clauses in bunker supply contracts and charterparties; and how best to handle or settle legal disputes. Participants will be able to learn from a number of case studies which provide examples of how these principles work in practice.

We are pleased to welcome two distinguished experts in the field: Walter Dekkers, Principal Surveyor & Director at Van Ameyde Marine in Rotterdam, and James Kennedy, Partner at Preston Turnbull law firm in London. Additionally, The Swedish Club will share its perspective on claims handling through Oliver Hutton, Claims Manager FD&D and P&I.

Following the presentations, we will open the floor for a question and answer session.
