Our correspondent Spica Services Malaysia reports that the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has increased the focus on illegal anchoring in the eastern waters of Johor.

In the last couple of weeks, the MMEA has detained several vessels which failed to seek permission prior to anchoring.
