What we do
Shipping is a global industry with complex operations and high risks, from accidents and damage to legal challenges and environmental impact. We provide insurance that covers these risks, along with expert advice to help prevent problems before they happen.
But we are more than just an insurance provider. It is about people, knowledge, and the value we create together for our members.
We operate in a truly global industry and are an international organisation with offices in some of the world’s most strategic shipping centres. Our strength lies in our people. While our core expertise is within claims, underwriting and loss prevention, our organisation brings together many different areas of knowledge. We have in-house teams across IT and development, finance, marketing, communications, sustainability, legal, HR and regulatory. Together, we form one global team.
The Swedish Club is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, with offices in Oslo, London, Athens, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.
