Shipping moves the world, and Posidonia Week 2026 was a reminder of the people, relationships and conversations that keep the industry moving forward.

The week began with the Posidonia Running Event, where representatives from Team Greece joined more than 2,000 participants in a race through the streets of Piraeus. Over the years, the event has become a recognised part of Posidonia Week, bringing together professionals from across the maritime industry in a unique combination of sport, networking and community spirit.

From there, attention turned to the exhibition, seminars and meetings. Throughout the week, colleagues from The Swedish Club met with members, business partners and industry stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing shipping today.

As always, Posidonia provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging perspectives and strengthening relationships across the maritime community. Whether through formal discussions, industry events or informal conversations, the week offered countless opportunities to connect with both familiar faces and new contacts.

To conclude the week, Team Greece welcomed Members, business partners and friends of The Swedish Club to our annual Open House event. Held in a relaxed and informal setting, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on the week, continue conversations and enjoy the company of colleagues and partners from across the industry.

Over food, drinks and good conversation, guests gathered to celebrate another successful Posidonia and the relationships that make our industry such a strong and connected community.
