- Endorsing a bill of lading is when a bill of lading is stamped and/or signed to pass possession and the right to take delivery
of the cargo to a third party. - Endorsement in blank is when the bill of lading is not endorsed to a named party.
- Endorsement in full is when the bill of lading is endorsed to a named party.
- Multiple endorsements can be made – thereby facilitating many sales and purchases of the cargo.
