The Swedish Club can confirm that it is the lead hull underwriter for the X-Press Pearl and is working with all the relevant authorities in dealing with the casualty and doing everything that is necessary in limiting the environmental effects of the fire. P&I cover is with the London P&I. It is not The Swedish Club policy to comment on the validity of claims or on claims estimates.
