The Swedish Club is introducing Insights, a new collection of articles bringing together knowledge, experience and perspectives from across the Club and our professional network.

Insights is taking over from the former Triton Magazine, building on its long tradition of sharing expertise with members, brokers and the wider maritime industry – but in a more continuous and flexible format.

Insights will be published throughout the year to allow us to explore important topics as they emerge, give individual subjects the space they deserve and regularly share relevant perspectives.

Expertise, insight and conversation

Insights will draw on expertise from across The Swedish Club, as well as our members, partners and external specialists. The articles will explore a broad range of subjects affecting shipping today – from marine risk and prevention and insurance and legal matters to shipping in transition and the wider global outlook.

Some articles will offer a specialist perspective, while others may bring different experts into conversation, explain a complex issue, explore patterns and developments we are seeing or provide a broader view of changes taking place across the industry.

The aim is to share knowledge and perspectives that help our members and the wider maritime community better understand the issues shaping shipping.

Kicking off with cyber

We are starting off Insights with a series of articles on cyber, exploring the topic from different perspectives across shipping, security, technology and insurance – from geopolitical and hybrid threats to onboard vulnerabilities, cybercrime, risk management and resilience.

The series brings together voices from across the maritime industry and our professional network, looking at both the bigger cyber risk picture and the practical challenges facing shipowners today.
